Blue Haze — A long-lost recording by 1960s rock legend Jimi Hendrix is at the center of a federal suit in Newark that seeks enhanced and punitive damages for copyright infringement.
Vocalist and saxophonist Lonnie Youngblood of Fort Lee claims he wrote the song, "Georgia Blue," more than 40 years ago. It was one of six recorded by Youngblood, as singer, and Hendrix, on guitar, in 1969, the year before Hendrix died at age 28.
