Plaintiff Marcello Bustamante was indicted for aggravated assault on two Paramus police officers and resisting arrest. The assault allegedly occurred when police went to a restaurant in response to the manager’s report of an intoxicated patron. A confrontation and struggle ensued, followed by defendant’s arrest.
