Rutgers-Newark Journal Hosts Tax Symposium
The Rutgers Business Law Journal hosted “A Symposium on Taxation: Strategies to Protect Your Client and Maintain Tax Compliance” at Rutgers Law School-Newark on April 21. The symposium featured presentations by Thomas Olson (shown), a partner at Mc-Kirdy and Riskin in Morristown, who focused on property tax appeals; Joshua Blank, associate professor of tax law and faculty director of the Graduate Tax Program at New York University School of Law; Daniel Levin, associate professor of management and global business at Rutgers Business School; and Lawrence Horn, chairman of the business crimes and tax litigation practice groups at Sills Cummis & Gross in Newark.
