On April 26, the Essex County Bar Association held its annual installation and achievement awards dinner at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange. The officers for 2010-11 are: president, Jane Kelsey, Lum, Drasco & Positan in Roseland; president-elect, Alan Model, Littler Mendelson; vice president, Robert Scrivo, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter; treasurer, Thomas Quinn, Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker; and secretary, Kenneth Rosenberg, Fox Rothschild. The trustees are: Francine Aster, Judith Hartz, Keri Logosso, Andrew Renda Jr., Marvin Adames, Raj Gadhok, Matthew Schultz, Rubin Sinins, Edna Baugh, Terryann Bradley, David Stein and Kevin Walsh. Jessica DiBianca was sworn in as the Young Lawyers Section trustee; Stacy Manobianca, Young Lawyers Section chairwoman; and Susan Freedman and Marc Gross, three-year terms on the ECBA’s Nominating Committee. ECBA Past President Bernard Kuttner, of the Kuttner Law Firm, received the Samuel S. Saiber Professional Achievement Award and Elitza Meyer of Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield NJ received the Bernard Kuttner Pro Bono Attorney Achievement Award. Other award recipients are: Civil Trial: John Voynick Jr.; Criminal Trial: Eileen O’Connor; Family Law: Terryann Bradley; General Practice Trial: Francis Giantomasi; Young Lawyers Section: Jessica DiBianca; The Walter A. Lucas Special Merit Award: former chief judge of the Newark Municipal Court Julien Neals; and the Maureen E. McCully Significant Bar Supporter Award: Kimberly Haduck, Veritext. N.J. Bar Names Freeman as Young Lawyer of Year

Lloyd Freeman, shown at left, an associate at Archer & Greiner in Haddonfield, is named Young Lawyer of the Year by the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. He accepted the award May 19 during the association’s annual convention in Atlantic City.
