A statue of the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan Jr. was unveiled on the front steps of the Essex County Hall of Records in Newark on June 3. A graduate of Barringer High School, Brennan was one of the longest-serving and most influential Court members. Todaro, Webb Chosen for Bar’s Pro Bono Awards

The New Jersey State Bar Association gave its annual Pro Bono Awards to John Todaro, managing counsel of the intellectual property group at Merck & Co. Inc., and John Webb III, general counsel of JGW INcounsel, on May 6 at the Law Center in New Brunswick. Todaro was recognized for his work in establishing the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice/Merck consumer bankruptcy clinic. Webb was honored for the transactional legal services he has provided to small charitable nonprofits that are clients of the Pro Bono Partnership.
