Harrison was hired by David Fahey of Pennsylvania, who claims he was seriously injured when he took a tumble from a rented bicycle on July 11, 2006, during a vacation in Avalon. It was not until July 2, 2008 — shortly before the two-year statute of limitations was to end — that Harrison tried to file a federal court complaint against the rental company, Hollywood Bicycle Center.
