STATE COURT CASES
ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION

03-2-8423 DeNora v. DeNora, App. Div. (per curiam) (5 pp.) This appeal involves the clash of interests generated by the death of Dominick DeNora, the husband of plaintiff and the brother of defendant and the parties’ respective interests in real property, a partnership and stocks. The parties committed themselves to an arbitral forum in which to resolve their disputes, reserving a plenary right of appeal to the Superior Court. The trial court undertook an extensive and comprehensive review of the proceedings conducted during the arbitration. It found few faults in the award of the arbitrator, and the appellate panel likewise finds nothing of concern in the trial judge’s review. Finding the Chancery Division correctly resolved the plenary appeal of the arbitrator’s award, the appellate panel affirms.
