STATE COURT CASES
ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION

03-2-9112 MBNA America Bank v. Cohen, App. Div. (per curiam) (11 pp.) In these four consolidated actions involving cash advances on separate accounts, the court finds that there was a valid agreement to arbitrate any credit card disputes in each instance, and that the service on a person over 14 years of age at defendant’s home who transmitted the summons and complaint to him in a timely fashion was sufficient to afford him due process and the ability to defend against plaintiff’s claims. The judgments for plaintiff are affirmed.
