A Middlesex County jury last Monday awarded a Manalapan woman $3 million in her suit over injuries sustained in a rear-end collision, Oppedissano v. Utz.

Lynn Oppedissano was stopped at a light on Route 520 in Tinton Falls on Oct. 6, 2006, when another car struck her from behind at low speed. There was only minor damage to each car, and Oppedissano did not complain of any injuries at the time, but she began feeling neck and arm pain later that night, and over the following days and weeks, the pain spread throughout her entire body, says her lawyer, Frank Cofone Jr. of New Brunswick’s D’Amico & Cofone .
