Canam Steel Corp., of Point of Rocks, Md., announced last Monday that it paid $25 million for steel deck assets of Commercial Metals Corporation, including manufacturing plants in South Plainfield and Peru, Ill. Canam was represented by Heidi Hoffman-Shalloo of Lomurro Davidson in Freehold. CMC, of Irving, Texas, was represented by Haynes and Boone in Dallas.
Cono Italian Gets Pizza Cono Rights
Cono Italiano Inc., a Red Bank food distributor, announced Wednesday that it acquired the North American distribution, manufacturing and licensing rights to Pizza Cono, a cone-shaped pizza, from Spuntibreak and Pizza Hands, two distributors in Milan.
