Lewis April, a founding partner of Cooper Levenson April Niedelman & Wagenheim in Atlantic City, was presented on June 7 with an award by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito Jr. for his role as New Jersey state chairman of the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society. Also in attendance were U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. and Justices Stephen Breyer, Antonin Scalia and Sonia Sotomayor. Volunteers Expand Expungement Services

Recent changes to New Jersey’s expungement procedures have made it easier for Newark and Newark Re-entry Legal Services (ReLeSe), a program of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, to help Essex County residents expunge their criminal records.
