The Mercer County Bar Association recognized Robert F. Casey Jr., left, a partner with Lenox Socey Formidoni Brown Giordano Cooley & Casey in Lawrenceville, as its 2010 Young Lawyer of the Year on Nov. 10. The event at which he was honored, at the Firkin Tavern in Ewing, was a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County. The net proceeds of about $1,500 will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Ethics Award Goes to Dennis Galvin

Dennis Galvin, right, who heads a firm in Jackson, received the Michael A. Pane Award for Excellence in Ethics during a ceremony before the Institute of Local Government Attorneys on Nov. 18 in Atlantic City. Galvin serves numerous towns as special counsel, zoning board attorney, planning board attorney and municipal attorney, and is a member of the Legal Task Force for the Center for Civic Responsibility. The award includes a $500 honorarium and is given by the Michael A. Pane Memorial Fund, created after Michael Pane Sr. died in 2003. The honoree is chosen by previous recipients and is a professional active in local government.

Flaster Gives Used Computers to Nonprofit
