Alan Dunst, a founding partner of Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas in New Brunswick, was presented with the John B. LaVecchia Award by the northern New Jersey chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates on Dec. 2 at the Canoe Brook Inn in Summit. The award recognized Dunst’s service to the northern New Jersey chapter and the national organization as well as his skills as a trial attorney with an emphasis on civility, collegiality, professionalism and integrity.


Harvard Alumni Honor Cohn

The Harvard Law School Association of New Jersey presented the first Irwin S. Markowitz Class of ’52 Alumni Service Award to Albert L. Cohn, (right) ’51, of Cohn, Lifland, Pearlman, Hermann & Knopf in Saddle Brook, for decades of service to the association and the community of Harvard Law School alumni in New Jersey. The award was given by association president Paula Tuffin, ’88, center, of Mayer Brown in New York City, and former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice John Wallace Jr., ’67, gave the keynote speech. The event took place at the 54th annual Arthur T. Vanderbilt Lecture at The Manor in West Orange on Nov. 18.
