The estate of a Brick Township man who died after a car accident that also killed two other people accepted $530,000 on Dec. 16 to settle the case prior to any filing of a suit.

Richard Kaminski, 72, and his wife, Betty, now 67, were driving on Princeton Avenue in Brick on Aug. 31, 2009, when a pickup truck crossed the center line and struck their car head-on, says the estate’s attorney, Barry Packin of Roseland’s Nagel Rice.
