State v. Tindell, A-5457-07T4; Appellate Division; opinion by Fuentes, J.A.D.; decided and approved for publication January 7, 2011. Before Judges Fuentes, Gilroy and Nugent. On appeal from the Law Division, Essex County, Indictment No. 06-04-01275. DDS No. 14-2-0604 [58 pp.]

Armed plainclothes Special Police Officer Dwayne Reeves and an unarmed school security officer intervened to break up a fight between two girls, one of whom is defendant Omar Tindell’s sister. Shortly thereafter, a number of school officials saw a white Chrysler 300 driving up and down the street directly in front of the school. Defendant was the driver; Hassan Reeds was the passenger. Defendant shouted, telling a number of students and school officials that whoever touched his sister was going to die.
