In the latest appellate gloss on amenability of lawyers to suits by clients dissatisfied with settlements they originally agreed to, an appeals court on Wednesday reinstated a malpractice action against a Fort Lee firm.

The suit, Gorjuice Wrap Inc. v. Okin Hollander & DeLuca, A-4782-08, alleges that Okin Hollander & DeLuca and partner James DeLuca failed to seek emergent relief on behalf of a business client that a landlord locked out in 2001 for nonpayment of rent.
