The state Supreme Court has agreed to decide whether a malpractice suit can proceed against a public defender who hatched a bizarre scheme to foil identification of her client.

At issue in Rogers v. Cape May County Office of the Public Defender, A-63-10, is when, for purposes of the Tort Claims Act, the client’s malpractice claim accrued.
