The Hudson County Bar Association installed its officers and trustees for 2011 on Jan. 20 at The Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. Cataldo Fazio, Hoboken’s municipal judge, was installed as the association’s 117th president. The following officers were also installed: Brian Neary, a Hackensack solo, president-elect; Norberto Garcia, a partner with Blume Goldfaden Berkowitz Donnelly Fried & Forte in Jersey City, first vice president; Stephen McCurrie, a partner with McCurrie, McCurrie & McCurrie in Kearny, second vice president; Mitzy Galis-Menendez, a partner with Chasan Leyner & Lamparello in Secaucus, recording secretary; Gregory Diebold, an attorney with Northeast New Jersey Legal Services Corp. in Jersey City, membership secretary; Lori Cieckiewicz, a partner with D’Alessandro & Cieckiewicz in Jersey City, treasurer; and Judith Bielan, a partner with Bielan, Miklo & Makrogiannis in Bayonne, immediate past president. The trustees are: Stephen Dill, James Dronzek, Angela Femino, Brian Freeman, Leo Hurley Jr., Jeffrey Jablonski, Sotiria Makrogiannis, Eric McCullough, Robert Peluso, Sharon Rivenson-Mark, Kevin Russell, Maria Vallejo, Christine Vanek, Michael Wittenberg and Nadya Zerquera. In addition, officers of the Young Lawyers Division were inducted. They are: Tracey Agnew, assistant prosecutor, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, Jersey City, president; Jane Weiner, assistant prosecutor, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, vice president; Jordan Goldsmith, assistant prosecutor, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, treasurer; Lynne Seborowski, assistant prosecutor, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, membership secretary; and Robert Finn, an associate with Chasan Leyner in Secaucus, recording secretary.

Genova, Burns & Giantomasi in Newark participated in the Jersey Cares Frosty’s Friends Program on Dec. 17, helping 50 children at the Jubilee Center in Hoboken.
