The Cumberland County Bar Association awarded Theodore Ritter the Cumberland County Bar Association 2011 Distinguished Service Award at a ceremony held on Jan. 25 at Mori’s restaurant in Vineland. Ritter practices law with his son, Matthew W. Ritter, at The Ritter Law Office in Bridgeton. He is a past president and trustee of the Bar and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey and the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys. Smith Selected for Lifetime Achievement Award

Wendell Smith (shown), a partner in the real estate department at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis in Woodbridge, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the New Jersey chapter of the Community Associations Institute on March 3. The award recognizes Smith’s leadership at the institute. He is the founding president of CAI-NJ and serves as its general counsel and is a former national trustee of the institute, past president of the CAI Research Foundation and a charter member of CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers.
