Keyshia Sings the Blues — Recording artist Keyshia Cole’s attempt to vacate a default judgment in Essex County was apparently thwarted by a miscommunication with her mother.

On Monday, the Appellate Division upheld a $144,936 default judgment against the singer over her failure to appear at a 2006 concert in Fresno, Calif.
