A state appeals court on Wednesday extended statutory immunity for intermediate-level emergency medical technicians to basic-level EMTs who provide advanced service.
The Appellate Division held in Murray v. Plainfield Rescue Squad , A-2906-08, that the plaintiffs, parents of the victim of a fatal shooting, had too narrowly construed the statute.
