Lowenstein Sandler has added seven patent attorneys and a patent agent to its office in Palo Alto, Calif., doubling the size of its West Coast operation.

The new additions, from Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman in Sunnyvale, bring to 15, up from two a year ago, the number of attorneys in its 3-year-old Palo Alto office. Other new hires were made during the course of the year.
