The Middlesex County Bar Association held its sixth annual Practice Area Awards on March 16 at the Pines Manor in Edison. The recipients and their awards are Peter Greenbaum, a partner with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer in Woodbridge, the Transactional Attorney Award; Anthony Vignuolo, a partner with Borrus, Goldin, Foley, Vignuolo, Hyman & Stahl in North Brunswick, the Robert J. Cirafesi Chancery Practice Award; Jeremy Solomon, an associate with Bob Smith & Associates in Piscataway, the Municipal Court Attorney of the Year prize; Evelyn Hartmann, a solo practitioner in Woodbridge, the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award; Wendy Reek, an associate with Leary Bride Tinker & Moran in Cedar Knolls, received the Civil Trial Practice Attorney of the Year award; and retired Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Barnett Hoffman, of counsel to Borrus, Goldin, the Criminal Practice Attorney of the Year Award. Women Lawyers’ Gala Announces Annual Honors

The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association held its Women’s Initiative and Leaders in the Law annual gala on March 30 at The Palace in Somerset Park. Lieut. Gov. Kim Guadagno was honored for her work in the public sector. Judge Maryanne Trump Barry of the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals was the keynote speaker and received an award for her work in the judicial sector. Shown, at right: Guadagno.
