J&J Buys Synthes for $21.3B
Pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson of New Brunswick announced on April 27 that it would acquire Synthes , a manufacturer of orthopedic devices in West Chester, Pa., for $19.3 billion in stock shares and $2 billion in cash.
Carnegie Center Sold for $468M
Real estate investment trust Boston Properties Inc. of Boston announced on April 25 that it would sell the Carnegie Center Office Park in Princeton to Normandy Real Estate Partners of Morristown and The Landis Group of New York City for $468 million.
