One would have to hide under a rock in the almost-summertime to miss the virtually round-the-clock wedding bonanza taking place everywhere from church steps to hotels to banquet halls. Salons are filled with brides and wedding parties having nails done and hair coiffed.

But with a 50 percent divorce rate in this country, it is hard not to feel sad about the fact that half of these newlyweds may one day end up in divorce court.
