This is a nursing home negligence action arising from injuries sustained by plaintiff Sanford Canter at the Lakewood of Voorhees Nursing Home, a New Jersey-licensed long-term care facility (the nursing home). Defendant Seniors Healthcare Inc. (SHI) is a limited partner of a New Jersey limited partnership that owns the nursing home. Plaintiff sought to hold SHI liable for the limited partnership’s negligence through corporate veil-piercing principles.
