Morris Brown, a renowned New Jersey personal injury lawyer for more than half a century, died on Aug. 10 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He was 83.

Brown spent his entire career with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer in Woodbridge, joining as an associate in 1956 and making partner in 1968. Among his partners was Robert Wilentz, New Jersey’s chief justice from 1979 to 1996.
