At the invitation of the New Jersey Supreme Court, an American Bar Association committee evaluated the structure, operations and procedures of New Jersey’s lawyer-discipline system.

The committee issued a report based on extensive interviews with the director, attorneys and staff of the Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE); members of District Ethics Committees (DECs), the Disciplinary Review Board (DRB) and the Supreme Court; respondents and their attorneys; complainants; and New Jersey bar officials.
