A federal judge has ordered the Port Authority to make the Grove Street PATH station in Jersey City handicapped-accessible, rejecting contentions that the accommodations are impracticable.

Granting summary judgment Tuesday in Heightened Independence & Progress, Inc. v. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, 07-cv-02982, Judge Stanley Chesler said the changes are warranted even if land needs to be bought to achieve them.
