Silent Lawyers’ Auction — Attorneys can now bid for clients online, thanks to “Shpoonkle,” a website meant to match people who cannot otherwise afford legal help with unemployed or underemployed attorneys.
Started in March by Robert Niznik, a 21-year-old New York Law School student who expects to graduate in December, Shpoonkle.com claims to have more than 2,000 lawyer and law-firm members from every state and Canada, with 143 from New Jersey.
