Communications company Verizon in Basking Ridge announced Dec. 2 it paid $3.6 billion for 122 advanced wireless service spectrum licenses from SpectrumCo., a group formed by Comcast Cable of Philadelphia, Time Warner Cable of New York City and Bright House Networks of Syracuse.

Prudential Real Estate Investors in Parsippany announced on Nov. 28 it paid $183.5 million for an office tower at 22 W. Washington in Chicago. The sellers were investment firms BlackRock in New York City and Golub & Co. in Chicago.
