Plaintiff Khan purchased a Dell 600m computer in 2004 that allegedly suffered from design defects, which prevented it from being used in a manner consistent with Dell Inc.’s marketing. Khan filed a putative consumer class action on behalf of himself and other similarly situated purchasers and lessees of defectively designed 600m computers sold from 2003 through 2006.
