Watson Pharmaceuticals in Parsippany announced on Jan. 24 it has acquired Ascent Pharmahealth in Melbourne, Australia, the generic pharmaceuticals division of Strides Acrolab in Bangalore, India, for about $393 million in cash.
Hartford Life To Be Sold for $117.5M
Philadelphia Financial Group in Philadelphia announced Jan. 24 it would pay about $117.5 million for Hartford Life Private Placement in Florham Park. Both are private-placement insurance providers.
