After taking senior status and officially stepping down as chief judge a month ago, veteran federal jurist Garrett Brown Jr. announced his full retirement Thursday.
Brown, a district judge for 26 years and chief for the past six, recently joined JAMS in New York, where he will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master for disputes in several areas of law.
