Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday that he would stand by his latest nominees to the Supreme Court, Bruce Harris and Phillip Kwon, no matter what position the State Bar Association may take on them.

“They have no factual basis to turn these folks down based upon their experience,” Christie told reporters. “Given the people they’ve approved before, they have no factual basis to turn them down. Regardless of what they do, I support these nominees.”
