The New Jersey Supreme Court on Thursday found statutes and regulations that cap unused sick day payouts for high-ranking local school officials and establish other austerity measures are legally and constitutionally sound.

The unanimous court overturned an appellate ruling that said the statutes and regulations impermissibly violated the contractual rights of local school administrators, assistant school administrators and business administrators.
