Two students at Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia were awarded diversity scholarships of $7,500 each from Archer & Greiner on March 29, along with paid summer associate jobs at the firm and Philadelphia’s Law Department.

Judge Gibbons Awarded Lowenstein Award

John Gibbons, director of the John J. Gibbons Fellowship in Public Interest & Constitutional Law at Gibbons in Newark, was awarded the Alan V. and Amy Lowenstein Social Justice Award by the New Jersey Institute of Social Justice on April 26 at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville. The institute honored Gibbons, previously chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals of the Third Circuit, for his 60-year career protecting the rule of law, including his defense of Guantanamo Bay Naval Base inmates.
