Curtiss-Wright of Parsippany, an aircraft-component manufacturer, announced on Sept. 24 it paid about $64 million in cash for PG Drives Technology, a supplier of vehicle controllers and drives in Christchurch, U.K., from telecommunications company Spirent Communications in West Sussex, U.K.
