Curtiss-Wright, an engineering company in Parsippany, announced on Nov. 26 it paid about $135 million in cash for Cimarron, an energy-equipment manufacturer in Norman, Okla.
Cantel Buys SPSmedical
Cantel Medical, a distributor of infection control products in Little Falls, announced on Nov. 2 that subsidiary Crosstex International in Hauppauge, N.Y., paid about $32.5 million in cash for SPSmedical Supply Corp. in Rochester, N.Y., a provider of sterility-assurance services. Also purchased was SPSmedical’s building for about $3.5 million in cash.
