Manufacturing company Unilever North America in Englewood Cliffs announced on Jan. 3 it sold peanut butter brand Skippy and manufacturing facilities in Little Rock, Ark., and Weifang, China, to food distributor Hormel Foods, of Austin, Minn., for about $700 million.

JHP Pharmaceutical Sold for $195M

JHP Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company in Parsippany, announced on Dec. 31 it has been acquired by private equity firm Warburg Pincus in New York City for about $195 million.
