While working by herself at the cash register of a convenience store, Antoinette Boutros was approached by a man holding a Reese’s candy bar. He took a "grey metal stick" out of his pocket and told her to "open the register, … I’m going to kill you." When she ran out of the store, the man followed her. After again threatening her, he fled. He had not taken any money from the register and Boutros testified she did not know whether he had taken the candy bar with him.
