These five words and the winners’ names that followed captivated our minds a couple of weeks ago. Whether you played in an Oscars pool or simply tuned in to gauge how Seth MacFarlane would perform as a host, most of us enjoyed the broadcast and all the chatter that took place in virtual real time on Twitter and other social media. This got me thinking about high-profile individuals and organizations that in recent days or weeks have experienced — whether they wanted to or not — the bright shining light of cameras and the media spotlight.
