The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey presented retired New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice James Zazzali with its Roger N. Baldwin Award on April 9 at the Newark Club in Newark. The award is named in honor of the ACLU’s principal founder. Zazzali, of counsel at Gibbons and Zazzali Fagella Nowak Kleinbaum & Friedman, both in Newark, was recognized for his work in strengthening civil rights and civil liberties in New Jersey, particularly during his time on the court.
