Plaintiff B.C., age 17, and defendant T.G., age 18, had a dating relationship that ended shortly after B.C. informed T.G. that she was pregnant with his child. He did not want her to have the baby. Shortly thereafter, he led her to a location where four other individuals dragged her from her car and, at T.G.’s direction, beat her. T.G. then joined in the assault. B.C. incurred multiple injuries.
