Paulette Brown, shown, partner and chief diversity officer at Edwards Wildman Palmer in Madison, received the Hon. Renee Jones Weeks Past Presidents Award of Excellence, from the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey, on April 27 at the Pines Manor in Edison. Brown was honored for her work toward equality for minorities and women. She handles labor and employment matters as well as commercial litigation and is second vice chairwoman of the State Bar’s Labor and Employment Section.

Donald Cofsky, a partner at Cofsky & Zeidman in Haddonfield, was installed as the 24th president of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys on April 27 in San Diego. Cofsky’s practice includes adoption and assisted-reproduction law.
