A State Bar Association committee determined Thursday that Thomas Prol, whose run for office instigated a bylaw change requiring that officers practice primarily in New Jersey, satisfies the new stricture.
The Election Committee came to its decision after reviewing documents from which it verified that Prol had resigned the New York City job that first galvanized opposition to his candidacy, and that he has an active practice in Sussex County.
