A federal appeals court has upheld a $575,000 fee award in a class-action suit against a health insurer over allegedly recalcitrant claims-reimbursement practices.

An objector who complained the settlement included only nonmonetary relief failed to demonstrate an abuse of discretion, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit held in Kirsch v. Delta Dental of New Jersey, No. 12-1684.
