Foster Wheeler AG of Geneva, Switzerland, an engineering and construction company, sold its Camden Resource Recovery Facility to Covanta Energy Corp. of Morristown on Aug. 19 for $48.6 million. The facility converts 1,050 tons of waste daily into about 21 megawatts of renewable energy. Wolff & Samson of West Orange represented the Foster Wheeler subsidiary that handled the sale. Bingham McCutchen of New York represented Covanta, a waste management and renewable energy provider.

Gehrlicher Solar Acquired

Gehrlicher Solar America Corp., a solar-power provider in Springfield, announced on Aug. 22 it has been acquired by M+W Americas in Albany, N.Y., the American division of engineering company M+W Group of Stuttgart, Germany.
