Law firms are equipping their lawyers with mobile devices and looking to the cloud to provide them with remote services. Most firms have security concerns about cloud computing. Firms are also concerned about work performance and efficiency challenges related to lawyers sending files attached to email because of file size limits on attachments on the sending or receiving mail server. The largest file that can be sent via Gmail is 25 megabytes.

There are three common cloud computing options that a law firm might consider to help mobile lawyers be more productive, and possibly more secure: Dropbox, Box and Citrix ShareFile.
