An ironworker accepted $1.7 million on Oct. 18 to settle his Monmouth County suit over injuries allegedly suffered in a fall, Walsh v. Dillon Steel Corp.

On April 29, 2007, at a Target store under construction in Riverdale, Patrick Walsh, then 31, was installing steel decking on the roof when he fell 24 feet from an unsecured cantilevered portion.
